STEVENS Bikes is a manufacturer of high quality bicycles from Hamburg (Germany).
The history of STEVENS began in 1990 when STEVENS Vertriebs GmbH was founded by brothers Werner and Wolfgang von Hacht, two avid road racers.
At that time, the brothers were not only successful athletes, but also first-class bicycle wheel assemblers, and also owned a bicycle shop in Hamburg for 25 years.
In 1999 STEVENS Bikes acquired premises in Billstedt (Hamburg), where the company's head office is still located.
The company has its own sales, marketing and development department.
STEVENS has about 50 employees in Hamburg and more than 3 in Asia (Taiwan), where they monitor the purchase and quality of some components.
The assembly takes place in two factories in Taiwan (X6, X5, X4, X3, S3 and Team M) and in two factories in Germany (all other models - about 95% of all production), where another 100 people work.
