The first Ghost bicycles appeared in the small town of Waldsassen.
In this modest settlement with just over 7 thousand inhabitants, two friends decided to devote their lives to their favorite business.
Klaus Mechwald and Uwe Kallivod created their first bicycle in the backyard of a smithy in 1993.
Just a few years later, their creations began to be bought far beyond the boundaries of the German town.
Initially, there were only three models. Three years after the first bike, the number of products produced has increased dramatically.
During this period, the first fully suspended models were created. They were named Fullies FSP I and Fullies FSP II.
In 1998, they were accompanied by more than a dozen models. Just a year later, the company began selling 25 different types of bicycles. There are already models on the market created specifically for those who love speed.
Parents who were in love with the new brand were able to buy GHOST for their children. In the same period, the first clothing for cyclists appeared especially for the fans of the brand.
In 2001, a special scandium alloy frame was created. It was this step that made the brand popular on the German bicycle market.
A year later, 40 models were produced under the Ghost logo.
For example, there is an option for courageous women who like to travel by bike in the mountains.
In 2003, scandium began to be added to all variations of this popular transport, so that the brand became incredibly popular.
In 2005, the brand began producing full suspension bikes with a more modern design.
In subsequent years, the well-known models ERT, AMR, Endurance, Lector and many others were produced.
During the same period, famous racers and racers choose German bicycles for various competitions.
And they confidently win, proving the superiority of the brand over its competitors.
And in 2008 the company produces carbon versions of famous models.
And today this company sells its bicycles in more than 20 countries of the world, and the most famous athletes win their enchanting victories on them.
