As is the case with many other European bicycle brands, the history of Corratec began with a sports shop in the German town of Rosenheim.

In the mid 70s of the last century, Konrad Irlbacher opened a small sporting goods store, which initially did not even have a bicycle section.

Only by the 80th year, Konrad's son launched a department in which the products of several Italian bicycle brands were displayed on the counter. From that moment on, he simply became infected with bicycles.

Since the early 1980s, the first Corratec bikes have been designed to be the best of their kind.

In 1988, a model with a unique carbon fiber frame appeared on the shelves.

Since 1992, the main production has been located in Raubling. The area of the Corratec plant is 15,000 square meters.

Every day about 300 bicycles leave the assembly line, each of which is checked by modern programs to control the quality of products.

Today Corratec is a quality mark in the bicycle industry. All bikes are built using state-of-the-art technology to ensure the strength and durability of the bikes.

The company owns numerous patents that allow it to create bicycles that are not similar to competitors' products.

For example, only Corratec is eligible for SuperBow bikes.

The quality of the bikes is also confirmed by the success of the athletes sponsored by Corratec. Cyclist Jan Ostergaard has repeatedly ascended the podium thanks to the bikes from Corratec.

By the way, the superiority of bikes is confirmed not only by the sporting successes of the riders, but also by the victory in various nominations of bike magazines and communities.
