Bergamont is a German bicycle brand. The brand positions itself as a company that makes great bikes available to everyone.

The history of the Bergamont bicycle brand began in 1993. Then a small bicycle repair shop appeared in the center of Hamburg.

Over time, the idea came to establish cooperation with China, where they make components for many manufacturers of bicycles and other equipment.

Today the company is more than twenty years old, during which time it has managed to become one of the largest manufacturers of bicycle bikes in Germany.

To this day, the Bergamont headquarters are located in the center of Hamburg. The company's designers do not have such test conditions as, for example, the Cube, whose plant is located in the Alps.

The first models of mountain and road bikes were tested on cobbled streets and construction sites.

Then they began to be loaded into the VW Crafter minibus, owned by the company, and taken to the outskirts for testing.

Now new developments are being tested on the banks of the Elbe, on the race tracks of the village of Blankenese and in Harburg. And the toughest endurance tests are carried out in Duvenstedt and in the Wittmoor swamps.

The company has found its niche and has never set itself the goal of conquering the whole world.
